Bear hunts can be both thrilling and relaxing. Our hunt focuses around Chitek Lake and the remoteness of the camp offers only the sound of your beating heart and the heavy breath of a bruin appearing mysteriously at the bait station. Our hunters are exposed to the possibility of harvesting not only trophy size but also other color phases such as cinnamon or blond .The hunter is offered a 5 day hunt if necessary with the opportunity to do some Northern Pike, Walleye or Trout fishing during down time in the numerous lakes in the area. We pride our selves in giving you an enjoyable and safe hunt.

The hunt starts Monday morning with a hearty breakfast a brief informal meeting of rules, regulations, question and answer. We have a down time until approximately 2 pm, you can try your luck at fishing for Northern Pike or Walleye in some of our local lakes. After dinner we will prepare for the evening bear hunt. At approximately 3 pm we will travel approximately 15 miles to the hunt area from which we will ride or drive ATV’s to the stand. Your guide will take you to your stand and stay with you until you give him the thumbs up sign.

You will not likely see another person until the legal hunting time has expired at approximately
10: 00 pm at which time you will hear the roar of your guides ATV coming to pick you up and transport you back to camp.

You will arrive back at the camp by approximately 10: 30 pm to hot soup and sandwiches, hot shower and your own bed.
